The lyrics to one of my favorite songs says, “I’m grateful, for all of the things You’ve done, done for me. You’ve been faithful and merciful; For my sins you, forgave me. Hallelujah, I will sing to You; All the glory, I will give to You. I could never praise You enough”…God has been so good to me. This morning I woke up with a grateful and thankful heart. It should be this way everyday but some days I get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and let it bring me down. Sometimes I complain about all the things that I don’t have instead of giving thanks for the things that I do. When I think about God’s grace and mercy, how can I not praise him. Grace says, I’m going to bless you and give you favor without you having to earn it. And mercy is God having compassion for me. It’s God saying inspite of who you are and what you’ve done, I will not cast you aside or condemn you. While listening to this song, I became so emotional. Just thinking of how far God has brought me. When my enemies wanted to swallow me up, he did not allow them to. In fact, he made them my footstool. When the devil wanted to snatch my life, he stopped him in his tracks. What a mighty God we serve! As we are about to celebrate the thanksgiving holiday, let us continue to reflect on how wonderful and amazing our God is. There is so much turmoil and strife going on in the world, but yet we are still here. There are so many things that we are protected from. Just a few weeks ago, I remember getting the call from Chace’s Nanna, checking on us to make sure that we were ok. And I said yeah, we are fine. What’s going on? And she said I’m watching the news and a man just took a van and ran over pedestrians and bikers in Manhattan. It shook me up because it was so close to home. That could’ve easily been Chace and I, or one of our loved ones. It was just a reminder that we are here not because of our own actions, but because God is protecting and keeping us. His angels are constantly encamping around us to insure that harm doesn’t come our way. Let’s remember to always be grateful and thankful. Let’s be like David when he said, I will bless the Lord at ALL times(that means in the good, bad and in between times), his praise shall continually be in my mouth. Have a blessed and happy Thursday❤️

God is good and worthy to be praised. Thanks for the reminder.
